We are honored to end our Final Season of Townhall lectures with our Valley’s Own beloved Jim Tressel. He is a visionary in leadership and a former college football coach. Jim Tressel was the head football coach at both YSU Ohio State where he led teams to National Championships.  Tressel is one of the most decorated college coaches in history, having earned 12 Coach of the Year awards. He returned to YSU in July 2014 as the ninth president in school history and retired in 2023. During his tenure at YSU graduation rates rose dramatically and fundraising hit record highs. He has given hundreds of presentations across the country, and has had extensive involvement in philanthropy.  What a wonderful way to conclude the final season of Townhall.
